Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on Thursday saw several celebrities and prominent figures attending the semi-final match and cheering for India.

India defeated England by 7 runs in the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on March 5, Thursday. The incredible match was attended by celebrities and prominent figures as well. Among the many celebs were Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, along with their daughter Raha, Anil Kapoor, VarunDhawan, and many others.

Several top Bollywood names came to watch the India vs England semi-final match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai yesterday. Among them were Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, VarunDhawan, TriptiiDimri and Anil Kapoor. Raha was seen clapping along with Ranbir and Alia, and several videos of the three enjoying the game surfaced on X. On the other hand, Anil and Varun were seen getting up from their seats and clapping for team India after the final innings, and even waved the tricolour as the team triumphed. Anil Kapoor taking to Instagram Stories wrote, “Finale unlocked! Let’s go, Team India.” TriptiiDimri on her Instagram Stories wrote, “Goosebumps watching this team.”

Many other celebrities took to social media to congratulate Team India.
