Ranveer Singh takes over the stage, recreating Akshaye Khanna’s viral dialogue

Dhurandhar: The Revenge, much like its predecessor, has been ruling the global box office and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The lead, Ranveer Singh, was recently among the many celebs who attended the NMACC gala and took over the stage by recreating dialogues from his blockbuster film.

The actor was seen capturing all the attention as he recreated Akshaye Khanna’s viral dialogue, “AssalamualaikumLyari,” from Dhurandhar. He re-enacted other popular dialogues from the duology. Videos of the actor dancing with the audience and charming them with his energy have since gone viral. In one of the clips, Ranveer celebrated the success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge by recreating popular dialogues from the film, earning loud cheers from the crowd.

Ranveer was seen recreating Akshaye Khanna’s viral scene from Dhurandhar, in which he addresses the people of Lyari during a political rally with the line, “AssalamualaikumLyari.” Ranveer took to the stage and delivered the dialogue with the same intensity as Akshaye did in the film. He went ahead in delivering another popular dialogue from Dhurandhar: The Revenge, “Gharkiyaadnahiaayitujhe, Jassi (Didn’t you miss home, Jassi), said by Udaybir Sandhu in the film. The dialogue has become meme material on social media. As the audience cheered loudly for him and chanted “Jassi”, the actor, visibly overwhelmed and delighted, said, “Wow yaar, what an amazing moment and what an amazing atmosphere. Thank you, everyone.”
