The actress stunned on the red carpet in an ethereal saree and, for the awards ceremony, slayed in a tuxedo look oozing ‘boss lady’ vibes.

Alia Bhatt has time and again proved the diva she is when it comes to fashion, be it on ramps, at events, at airports, or for casual outings. Recently, she stunned everyone with her presence in two different looks for an awards ceremony. One was a beautiful saree for the red carpet, and the other was a tuxedo look for the ceremony.

Alia Bhatt, in two back-to-back looks, takes over a recent awards ceremony.

The actress delivered two back-to-back looks by fashion designer Gaurav Gupta for an awards ceremony. She transitioned from ethereal, soft femininity on the red carpet to a razor-sharp, high-octane ‘boss’ aesthetic for her role as the evening’s host. She looked like a vision in white in a custom ivory silk sareethat felt like a breath of fresh air on the red carpet. The drape was a delicate balance of tradition and modern sculptural art with its flowy, lightweight fabric featuring intricate, vine-like beadwork that mimicked blooming branches. A heavily embellished, matching white blouse added a touch of vintage glamour to the otherwise breezy saree look. She accessorised the look with statement layered diamonds from AlokLodha, anchored by sleek Aquazzura heels. For the glam, she opted for a clean-girl makeup look with glowy skin, tinted cheeks, and a subtle pink lip shade.

Alia Bhatt’s boss lady-inspired look of the day.

Alia chose a dramatic transformation once she started her duties as the host of the awards ceremony. She swapped the saree for a custom black three-piece tuxedo, channelling her pure ‘boss’ energy. The striking Gaurav Gupta look featured a structured blazer with sharp lapels, a sleek waistcoat, and perfectly tailored trousers that elongated her frame. She wore a crisp white shirt and fastened it with a skinny black tie, but it was the diamond-encrusted hexagon tie lapel that truly elevated the outfit.

The transition between the two looks served as a masterclass in fashion’s dual nature, showcasing Alia’s ability to move seamlessly between two polar-opposite looks.
