ArunGovil, TV’s favourite Shri Ram, plays King Dashrath in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.
There is already a lot of buzz around Nitesh Tiwari-directed Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor (Lord Ram), Sai Pallavi (Mata Sita), and Yash (Ravan).Namit Malhotra-produced Ramayanwill be a two-part film, which will be released this year and in 2027 during Diwali. Recently, speaking about Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, actor ArunGovil, who plays King Dashrath in the film, praised the actor.
ArunGovil says this about Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram.
Speaking to a leading portal about Ranbir playing Lord Ram, ArunGovil said, “JahantakRanbirkibaathai, to meramaannahaikiwohekbehtareen actor hain. Wohbahutmehnatkartehain. Asal me wohbahut hi sanskaribachehain, mainekayibaar notice kiyahai. Isliyemujhepoorabharosahaikiwohapna best dene kipoorikoshishkarenge (When it comes to Ranbir, I believe he is an excellent actor. He works really hard. The truth is that I have noticed he is a very cultured boy. That’s why I have full faith that he will do his best).”
Actor SujayReu, who played Rama in ShrimadRamayan, also praised Ranbir.
In an earlier interaction, another actor, SujayReu, who played Lord Ram in ShrimadRamayan, praised Ranbir Kapoor. He said, “Don’t try to keep anyone in mind. I know it’s very difficult because even when I was doing Shrimad Ramayana, there was a comparison with ArunGovilji. How can you compare anyone with him, because he is the poster boy, Rama. It’s impossible to match up to his level.”
ArunGovil played the role of Lord Ram over three decades ago in RamanandSagar’s TV show Ramayan. He will now be playing King Dashrath in the film.
