In an advertisement, Sunil Grover mimicked Rohit Sharma; however, fans say he looks like JaspritBumrah.
Comedian and actor Sunil Grover is one rare talent who has never ceased to amaze audiences with each of his mimicry acts he has done thus far, be it Aamir Khan, SRK, or Salman Khan, among many others. Recently, for an advertisement, he embraced the soul of Indian cricketing star Rohit Sharma and ‘bowled over’ audiences yet again with his pitch-perfect mimicry.

Sunil Grover has always nailed mimicry of every one he has ever chosen to mimic. He has won the hearts of audiences over the years through The Great Indian Kapil Show with impeccable mimicry of everyone from Salman Khan to Udit Narayan. This time, the actor and comedian transformed into cricketer Rohit Sharma for an ad with Netflix. Sunil nailed the carefree, bindass style and mannerisms for which Rohit is known.
More on Sunil Grover’s mimicry of Rohit Sharma.
In the new ad, he arrives for a Netflix ad shoot, where he is seen wearing the Mumbai Indians jersey. Sunil walked just like Rohit, and even his way of talking and responding was eerily similar to the cricketer. He is then seen shooting for pictures even as the ad director casts his doubts that he looks somewhat different, maybe AI. Sunil then fumbles his lines on the shoot, but somehow ends up acknowledging that Netflix is the official entertainment partner of the Mumbai Indians. Right at the end of the fun shoot, Rohit Sharma is seen watching Saiyaara on Netflix and asking whether he had an ad shoot today.
One fan reacted, “PaajiBumrahlagerahehowobhikaroge ab aapjaldi” (You look more like JaspritBumrah, do that too soon)! Another expressed, “Bhai bumrahjyada lag rhahai” (He is looking more like JaspritBumrah). A third fan wrote, “Sunil is so talented. Just look at his moves!” One more commented, “AI cannot match this! So good!”
