Showcasing Indian craftsmanship, IshaAmbani wore an embroidered dress by Manish Malhotra.

Apart from being a dynamic businesswoman, IshaAmbani is also a fashionista who always showcases her A-game, whether in casual looks, party dresses, or event looks. This time around, she turned heads in an embroidered dress at the Vogue Met Gala pre-party.

At the Vogue Met Gala pre-party, IshaAmbani proudly showcased Indian craftsmanship in an embroidered dress, designed by ace Indian fashion designer Manish Malhotra and styled by celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adjania. Indian billionaire MukeshAmbani’s eldest daughter Isha attended the event in New York City on May 1. For this, she chose a chic embroidered dress that combined the artistry of Indian craftsmanship.

Isha was seen in an intricately embroidered ensemble designed by Indian designer Manish Malhotra in collaboration with Swadesh, a label owned by Reliance Retail and launched by Reliance Foundation chairperson Nita Ambani. Her dress reimagined the bandage dress through an Indian lens. Stylist Anaita Shroff Adjania shared Isha’s pictures on Instagram and captioned them, “Bringing together the artistry of Indian craftsmanship in one dress.” As per the stylist, the statement jewellery Isha wore is from Outhouse Jewellery. The Manish Malhotra X Swadesh-designed ensemble featured a plunging U-neckline, a strapless design, a figure-hugging silhouette, a back slit, and a midi hemline. The midi dress is constructed from several fabrics, highlighting Indian craftsmanship that took over 450 hours to complete. The dress was made with 26 diverse borders, each representing a different region of India, incorporating techniques spanning zari work from Uttar Pradesh, Parsigara embroidery, Maheshwari weaves, karchobi, aaribharat, tilla, kantha, Kanjeevaram silk, Paithani, and Banarasi brocade, drawing from north, south, east, and west.

Isha paired the dress with striking additions like bright red pumps, precious diamond jewels, such as flower-shaped earrings decked with unique lavender and yellow crystals, and a statement floral ring, accentuated with shimmering stones. For the glam, she chose darkened brows, winged eyeliner, kohl-lined eyes, mascara-coated lashes, smoky eye shadow, soft contouring, bronzer, tinted cheeks, and a glossy caramel-brown lip shade.
