As per recent reports, Meta AI on WhatsApp may soon get a new “voice chat” mode. The social media chat platform may soon introduce a voice chat mode for Meta AI to allow users to engage in real-time conversations using voice commands. The feature is already spotted on WhatsApp beta for Android and could also become available in the stable version.

WhatsApp has worked on several new tech advancements and changes, especially in the last couple of months. As per reports on WABetainfo, the recent one suggests that a voice chat mode may soon be introduced to the AI chatbot in WhatsApp’s Meta AI.

A voice chat mode for better communications.

As per reports, Meta AI on WhatsApp could soon get a new voice chat mode that will allow users to communicate better with the chatbot and even personalize their interactions. The feature was first spotted on WhatsApp beta for the Android 2.24.18.18 update found on the Google Play Store by WABetainfo. It may soon make its way to its stable version as well.

Real-time conversations with Meta AI.

The new voice chat mode on the AI chatbot will allow users to have real-time conversations with Meta AI on WhatsApp. The voice command feature will be faster than typing. Meta AI can reportedly answer queries in a selected voice, which can also be changed per users’ preferences. Also, it is said that WhatsApp is testing a shortcut to quickly invoke Meta AI’s voice chat mode by pressing the floating action button within the chat list.

Manually activate the voice chat mode.

WhatsApp users will also be able to manually activate the voice chat mode, allowing the chatbot to listen to their conversations continuously and stop by either leaving the chat or switching to the chat mode. Users can know that Meta AI’s voice chat is turned off by noting the disappearance of the visual indicator from their screen when they leave the chat.
