Kiara Advani may return to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, slated to release this Diwali.
Kartik Aaryan is all excited for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to release this Diwali, in which he co-stars with an ensemble cast of Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit. In Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, he was cast opposite Kiara Advani. In the third installment, Vidya Balan reprises her role as Manjulika, while Madhuri Dixit, joining the franchise, will reveal herself as another version of Manjulika.
Kartik Aaryan hints at Kiara Advani’s return in the climax of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kartik Aaryan hinted at another return in the climax of the threequel. He was asked if director Anees Bazmee shot two alternate climaxes for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 that only a few knew about. He responded, “Yes, we shot two climaxes for this film so that there’s some confusion. In fact, what happened was that when the script came to all of us, except 5 of us, nobody had the last 15 pages. Even the AD (Assistant Director) or production teams had this script without the climax. When we were shooting with Kiara – oh, sorry – when we were shooting with Vidya ji… (laughs). This isn’t live, right? We’ve shot two climaxes. That’s all I’d like to say. This is the first time that I’ve had to conceal a lot of things. It’s a different space, a different film. But there’ll be a lot of surprises, and you’ll enjoy the film when it comes out.”
Kiara Advani, who was paired with Kartik Aaryan in the sequel, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which also starred Tabu as Manjulika, turned out to be a blockbuster in 2022. It was the sequel to the 2007 Akshay Kumar starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa, starring Vidya Balan as Majulika.
