During his visit to Mumbai, former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak made an unexpected stop at the iconic Parsee Gymkhana, where he couldn’t resist joining a game of tennis ball cricket. He eagerly picked up a bat and took to the field, much to the delight of the crowd. He shared his experience on social media, posting a photo of himself mid-game, surrounded by spectators. He wrote on X, “No trip to Mumbai is complete without a game of tennis ball cricket.”

Rishi Sunak was dressed in a white shirt, black trousers, and sports shoes and took to the crease with determination, facing deliveries as onlookers, including children, bodyguards and ground staff, who watched Sunak play tennis and cricket with curiosity in the casual practice session. Sunak later made his way to the Wankhede Stadium to catch the 5th and final T20I International between India and England. He was spotted enjoying the match with his father-in-law, Infosys founder Narayana Murthy, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, and son Akash Ambani.
