Adding his signature lens of innovation, Aggarwal made sure the ensemble had fluidity and structure, offering her something that was anything but conventional. The saree-gown, dipped in a kaleidoscope of jewel-toned hues. It showed the timeless Madras checks pattern, perfectly infused with the designer’s modern sensibility. It featured a strapless, corset-inspired blouse that lent a sculptural quality and perfectly matched the softness of the draped saree. The intricate pleats and folds created a fluid silhouette and had a contemporary edge.
