Amidst divorce rumours, Govinda and his wife, Sunita, were seen together welcoming Bappa at their residence.

Rumours have been circulating for the past few months about the divorce of actor Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja. However, amidst these rumours, the couple welcomed GanpatiBappa at their home and were seen together.

Govinda and Sunita were seen together welcoming GanpatiBappa home and enjoying Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with much fervour. Earlier this year, they were in the news due to reports of their divorce. However, the couple cleared the air, calling these rumours baseless, and moved on. However, last week, they made headlines once again. This time, buzz suggested that the star wife filed for divorce in the Bandra Family Court in December last year, allegedly on the grounds of adultery, cruelty and desertion under section 13 (1) (i), (ia), (ib) of the Hindu Marriage Act 1955. Later, Govinda’s manager and his daughter Tina clarified that these rumours were baseless. Today, on Ganesh Chaturthi, the couple quashed the rumours once and for all by posing together at their home, welcoming Bappa.

Earlier today, the couple stepped out to greet paparazzi. They distributed sweets to the shutterbugs, enjoyed Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with them and welcomed GanpatiBappa home. Sunita looked elegant in a magenta-purple saree with a royal gold border, accompanied by heavy gold jewellery. At the same time, Govinda complemented her in a berry-coloured kurta pyjama and a gold dupatta. The two smiled ear-to-ear as they interacted with the media and posed for photographs with their hands folded.
