Amid massive rains and flooding in Uttarakhand, a group of B.Ed students from Rajasthan reached their exam centre to appear for their final semester exam at RS Tolia PG College in Uttarakhand’sMunsiyari. The students, OmaramChoudhary, MagaramChoudhary, Prakash Choudhary, and Lucky Choudhary, are pursuing their degree through correspondence at Uttarakhand Open University. According to reports by NDTV, they managed to reach Haldwani in Uttarakhand by road, but taxi drivers refused to take them further. The group then contacted Heritage Aviation, which arranged an exceptional helicopter service. The students paid ₹10,400 each for the round trip and completed the 280-km journey, which usually takes 10 hours by road, in just 25-30 minutes.
