Sonam Kapoor served gorgeous looks at her baby shower

Sonam and her husband, Anand Ahuja, hosted an intimate baby shower for which she wore a floral lehenga and gold jewels.

Sonam Kapoor, along with husband Anand Ahuja, recently hosted an intimate baby shower, during which the actress served gorgeous looks in a floral lehenga and gold jewellery. Sonam is embracing motherhood for the second time. The couple already have a son, Vayu, born in 2022.

Sonam and Anand are all set to welcome their second child. The couple hosted an intimate baby shower on Sunday, attended by several Bollywood celebrities, close friends and family. The stars in attendance were Kareena Kapoor Khan, ShabanaAzmi, Anshula Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Masaba Gupta, and others. For the special occasion, Anand was seen in a cream, embroidered Nehru jacket with a silk kurta and pants. Sonam, on the other hand, looked stunning in a green floral lehenga set.

The actor’s pregnancy fashion has been top-notch. She never shies away from embracing stylish silhouettes during her pregnancy. For the baby shower, Sonam wore a beautiful pastel green-coloured lehenga set that set the tone for spring dressing and can be an excellent style moodboard for the wedding season. The lehenga set featured delicate gold embroidery done on the borders of the blouse, lehenga skirt, and dupatta. The floral pattern, beautifully done in red and green hues, added a soft, romantic touch to the dress. The blouse featured a super-cropped, plunging U-neckline, a fitted silhouette, and a cropped hemline that showed off her growing baby bump, while the lehenga featured a flowing silhouette and gold gotapatti work. Complementing the outfit was a chiffon dupatta, which she draped like a sareepallu, adding an elegant touch. The matching jacket had flowy quarter-length sleeves, side slits, and an open front, giving a finishing touch to the pretty ensemble.

Accessorising the look, Sonam opted for gold jewellery, including a multi-layered gold necklace, vintage gold jhumkis attached with an ear chain, rings, gold bangles, and traditional kadhas. For the glam, she chose a glowy base, defined brows, subtle smoky eye shadow, mascara-coated lashes, soft contouring, glowing highlighter, flushed cheeks, and a dark plum lip shade.
