Aamir Khan welcomes Sachin Tendulkar to his home for his film’s screening

Sachin Tendulkar received a roaring response as he entered Aamir Khan’s home during the premiere of the actor’s movie, “Sitaare Zameen Par.” Sachin and his wife Anjali were among the guests invited to the screening. The cricket icon instantly drew the attention of every other guest present.

As soon as the Little Master entered Aamir Khan’s home, murmurs turned into roars. The room burst into the familiar “Sachin Sachin” chant by the visitors at the actor’s home, much like always how fans would chant his name through stadiums. As the ever-gracious legend, Tendulkar responded with his trademark smile, acknowledging the guests with warmth and humility. He thanked those present for their love and unwavering support. Tendulkar and Aamir share a close relationship. Over the years, they have frequently expressed their appreciation for each other’s craft. The actor had even invited Tendulkar to a special screening of the movie Loveyaapa in February earlier this year, featuring Aamir’s son Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor.

It was reported earlier that India and England will contest a newly named trophy, the Tendulkar-Anderson Trophy when they face off in the upcoming 5-match Test series in the UK. It will honour two of the game’s greatest legends. As per a BBC report, the new trophy will be unveiled ahead of the series opener at Headingley on June 20. However, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has yet to issue any official comment.
