Aam Aadmi Party claimed that Arvind Kejriwal “lost 8 kgs in 3 months.”

Arvind Kejriwal has remained surrounded by controversies over the past few months. He was behind bars in a money laundering case linked to the now-scrapped Excise Policy by the Enforcement Directorate.

AAP says that Arvind Kejriwal’s health is deteriorating.

On Saturday, the Aam Aadmi Party claimed that Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister’s health was deteriorating rapidly since his arrest. They claimed that the Delhi CM “lost 8 kgs in 3 months” since his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21st in the Delhi liquor policy case.

Initially, he weighed 70 kgs, but now he weighs 62 kgs.

They claimed that Arvind Kejriwal weighed 70 kgs at his arrest, which had dropped to 62 kgs by June 22nd. They said, “The continuous weight loss, deemed very serious by the doctors, highlights the necessity for immediate and thorough medical evaluations to address and understand the root cause of Arvind Kejriwal’s health decline.”

Kejriwal’s health has been declining, claims the party.

Aam Aadmi Party added that his health was only declining. It said that persistent weight loss prompted the AIIMS medical board to advise the inclusion of “parathas” and “puri” in his diet to help alleviate the issue.

Request for Kejriwal’s interim bail for a week.

The party also demanded an extension of Arvind Kejriwal’s interim bail for a week because they feared his health must be thoroughly examined. Given his declining weight, doctors of Max Hospital had advised getting several tests done, they said.

AAP further claimed that despite urgent recommendations from doctors at Max Hospital for his comprehensive test, only a few blood tests were taken, alleging that critical heart tests and cancer screening tests are pending.
