A shocking event came to light when it was reported that actor Rakul Preet Singh’s brother, Aman Preet Singh, was arrested by the Hyderabad police. Aman, along with four others, were arrested after Hyderabad police busted a drug racket and found their names on the list of its customers.

Actor Rakul Preet Singh’s (predominantly works in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films) brother Aman Preet Singh has been arrested in a drug case. He was arrested along with four others by Hyderabad police on Monday, July 15, in connection with an alleged drugs case, as said by officials. They were arrested earlier in the day after the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Department found that 2.6 kgs of cocaine was being brought to Hyderabad for sale.

The police team busted the drug racket and identified thirty customers of the contraband, which had Aman’s name on the list. The five accused were identified as Aman Preet Singh, Aniketh Reddy, Prasad, Madhusudhan, and Nikhil Daman and are currently in police custody. They will be produced in court after their medical examination.
What did the police say?
DCP, Cyberabad Police, Srinivas, from Rajendra Nagar Zone, said, “As consumers, we picked up five people and brought them to the police station. In the urine test kit, all of them were found to be positive. They have been taken into custody. We are now sending them for detailed medical examination.”
In 2021 and 2022, even Rakul Preet Singh was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a drug trafficking and consumption case. Also, the ED has been investigating a drug trafficking and consumption case for four years. The probe began following the 2017 bust of a high-end drug cartel by Telangana’s Prohibition and Excise Department. The cartel was supplying MDMA, LSD, and other narcotics.
