A video went viral of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan laughing and posing with her daughter Aaradhya on the red carpet, where a reporter asked her why Aaradhya always accompanies her everywhere. The actor said, “She’s my daughter. She goes with me everywhere.” Earlier this week, Aaradhya was also seen with her mother at the L’Oreal Paris event. She even accompanied her to various Cannes Film Festival iterations and other events.

Aishwarya Rai wore a black and golden outfit to the event. She won the Best Actress (Tamil) award for Ponniyin Selvan II. The film had 13 nominations at IIFA Utsavam. Director Mani Ratnam also won the Best Director (Tamil) award for Ponniyin Selvan II. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan presented the award to Mani Ratnam and touched his feet, taking his blessings. She also hugged him as they smiled.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan touched director Mani Ratnam’s feet and hugged him after presenting him with the Best Director award. She opened up about her association with the director and said, “I can’t even speak about his evolution as a maker because I have always respected him. So, from the beginning, I just say I am very grateful that I got to work with him for my first movie. I was so honored that he asked me to be his Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan.”
