Ambanis were seen hosting a mass wedding for more than 50 couples.

Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani recently hosted a mass wedding of more than 50 underprivileged couples in Navi Mumbai. Not just that, the brides were also presented with cheques of over Rs. 1 lakh.

Ahead of their son Anant Ambani’s wedding to Radhika Merchant on July 12, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani hosted a mass wedding for more than 50 underprivileged couples at the Reliance Corporate Park (RCP) in Navi Mumbai. This marked the beginning of their son Anant’s wedding festivities.

The mass wedding saw hundreds of people.

The mass wedding hosted by the Ambanis saw over 50 underprivileged couples from the Palghar area, located about 100 km from Mumbai, get married. Nearly 800 people attended the event.

Akash Ambani and his twin sister Isha Ambani also attend.

The event’s pictures had gone viral, which saw not just Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani but also Akash Ambani with his wife, Shloka Mehta and Isha Ambani, and her husband, Anand Piramal.

What Ambanis gifted each of the 50 couples?

The Ambani family gifted each of the 50 couples with gold and silver ornaments, groceries, and other household items, including 36 essential items, utensils, appliances like a gas stove, mixer, and fan, pillows, mattresses, and Rs. 1.01 lakh cheques for each bride as “streedhan.”

The guests were also invited to witness the traditional Tarpa Dance performed by the ethnic Warli Tribe. The invite, shared by the news agency ANI on June 29, read, “Nita and Mukesh Ambani are contributing towards this noble cause and will also grace the occasion along with family. We would be delighted if you could join us in witnessing this celebration of love.”
