Abhay Singh Avinash will reunite with TriptiiDimri and join Shahid Kapoor in the film.
If recent reports are to go by, sources reveal that AvinashTiwary is roped in to play a crucial role in Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Romeo,’ which also stars Shahid Kapoor and TriptiiDimri. Avinash joining the project means he will reunite with his Laila Majnu co-star Triptii and will team-up for the first time with Shahid.

AvinashTiwary, who debuted with TriptiiDimri in Laila Majnu and was last seen on-screen with her in ‘Bulbbul’, might join her in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Romeo. This will also see him sharing screen space for the first time with Shahid Kapoor. The actor currently has several projects at hand, and with Romeo, adds one more to the list. An industry source reveals, “Avinash has come on board director Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming action-thriller, tentatively titled Romeo, which stars Shahid Kapoor and TriptiiDimri. He will play an integral part in the story and is flying to Spain today to shoot for his portion in the film. It marks his first team-up with Shahid and a reunion with his Laila Majnu and Bulbbul co-star TriptiiDimri.”

The source further adds that Avinash is heading to Spain for the shoot and will be there for a 15-day schedule. Though details of his role are still kept under wraps, the actor will be seen in a new avatar in the film and will be playing an integral part in the story. The film will also reportedly feature a dance number with actor DishaPatani.
AvinashTiwary recently wrapped up the shoot of Ginny Weds Sunny 2 with actor MedhaShankr. The film will mark his first solo leading theatrical release after his debut film Laila Majnu in 2018. He will also be seen with actor Aditi Rao Hydari in filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s web series.
