“Awkward” says Reddit fans after Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s Devara song releases

With this film, Janhvi Kapoor is debuting in the Telugu film industry. The new song with co-star Jr NTR has made headlines for various reasons. One primary reason is that Janhvi, who is 27, is seen dancing with Jr NTR, who is 41. Fans are finding their chemistry “awkward” in the song.

Janhvi Kapoor, whose current film “Ulajh” is still running in theatres, is now seen in a new song in her debut Telugu film “Devara: Part 1, co-starring Jr NTR. The song “Chuttamalle,” in Hindi: Dheere Dheere, was released on Monday, August 5. On one hand, the peppy song was praised by fans; on the other hand, some Reddit users were unimpressed.

Some Reddit users were found unimpressed by the new song, where Jr NTR is seen romancing and dancing with Janhvi Kapoor. Some people noticed no chemistry between Janhvi and Jr NTR in the song, and others commented on their 14-year age gap. A Reddit user wrote, “No chemistry between Janhvi (27) and Jr NTR (41). This pair looks so odd. Age gap is jarring (Let’s see if it’s justified in movie). Jr NTR looks so awkward and out of place.”
