While fans eagerly awaited Diljit Dosanjh’s debut on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, they were in for a delightful surprise. Not only did he grace the show, but he also shared a piece of his Punjabi culture with the American host. Dosanjh taught Fallon to say “Sat Sri Akal” and “Punjabi Aagaye Oye” (Punjabi is here), sparking a heart-warming cross-cultural exchange.

Taking to Instagram, Diljit shared a joint post ahead of the show. The video starts with Jimmy Fallon and Diljit greeting each other with warm hugs. The clip has Fallon say, “Learning how to speak Punjabi with Diljit Dosanjh.” Repeating what Diljit said, Fallon said, “Punjabi Aagaye Oye.” Then, the singer-actor folded his hands and said, “Sat Sri Akal.”
