Firing incident outside Rohit Shetty’s home: Security gets beefed up after the incident

In the early hours of Sunday morning, four rounds were fired outside the Juhu residence of filmmaker Rohit Shetty in Mumbai. Following the firing incident outside his residence, security around the filmmaker’s home has been significantly tightened.

After the firing incident, the Mumbai police have cordoned off the area, set up barricades and deployed additional personnel in and around the premises to ensure safety and proper investigation. The incident also prompted a major security alert in Mumbai and led to the deployment of police and forensic teams at the spot. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for firing outside Rohit Shetty’s Juhu home.

As seen in videos on the internet, the Juhu area, where Rohit Shetty resides, has been cordoned off, with heavy security deployed in and around the locality as a precautionary measure. The clips also show police vehicles, barricades, and officers stationed outside the building. A few videos also show police and forensic teams at Rohit’s residence in the middle of the investigation after the incident. On Sunday, it was reported that unidentified assailants fired four rounds outside the Mumbai residence of Rohit Shetty around 12.43 am. No injuries were reported in the firing incident.

As per the police, the motive behind the attack is still unknown, reported news agency ANI. However, an investigation is underway currently with police and forensic teams on site. Latest reports say that five suspects have been detained in Pune thus far in connection with the incident.
