Reports say that the India skipper has now been asked to refrain from making any comment that could be construed as political in nature by the match referee.
An official hearing by the International Cricket Council (ICC) was held, presided over by ICC match referee Richie Richardson, summoning India T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav following a complaint filed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). However, the Indian captain pleaded not guilty.

The India captain, Suryakumar Yadav (SKY), pleaded not guilty at the ICC hearing held by the match referee, Richie Richardson, after a complaint filed by the PCB. According to fresh reports, the Indian skipper has been instructed by the match referee to refrain from making any comments that could be construed as political in nature.
India also filed an official complaint against two Pakistani players.
Meanwhile, India had filed an official complaint with the ICC against Pakistan cricketersHaris Rauf and SahibzadaFarhan for their provocative gestures during the two sides’ Asia Cup Super Four game last Sunday. With Pakistan playing their Super Four match against Bangladesh, the hearing for Pakistan’s players Rauf and Farhan is expected to take place today, September 26.
The PCB had filed a complaint within the stipulated 7-day period after the September 14 game between India and Pakistan, in which SKY refused to shake hands and then dedicated the victory to the Indian armed forces for carrying out Operation Sindoor in May. He even expressed solidarity with the Pahalgam terror attack victims. On the other hand, Rauf reportedly indicated that an aircraft crashed on the field last Sunday. He also hurled abuses at Indian openers Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma. During the match, Farhan celebrated with a gun-firing gesture using his bat as a machine gun prop.
