Indian cricketers travelled by Uber in Australia.
A dashcam video from the driver’s vehicle captured the driver waiting for the pickup, then left dumbfounded when Krishna got into the front seat alongside him, while his two teammates sat in the rear. The video of the interaction went viral on social media, as cricket fans saw the driver’s funny side and were spellbound entirely by having three international Indian cricketers as his passengers.

The widely shared video showed the driver reaching the destination, with only a brief exchange of pleasantries at the end of the ride. The driver did seem to recognise the players, needing a double take to register who they were, but respected their privacy during the car ride without intruding too much despite potentially being a fan.
The three players are currently in Australia as part of the squad for the ongoing series. However, none got the chance to feature in either of the two opening ODIs thus far, as India slipped to a series loss with a 2-0 deficit in Adelaide. The third and final ODI of the series will be held in Sydney.
