But what has turned more heads about the grand global event of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is India’s series of wins, which has been hitting out of the park with its groundbreaking work in creative communications, advertising, and related fields.

India wins metals and hearts all over.

On Day 2 of Cannes Lions 2024, India won four metals, including one silver and four bronze Lions. Thus, the nation’s metal tally stands at nine as of now at the global event.

Who are the winners?

Early Man Film wins the Silver Lion and a Bronze Lion in the Film Craft category for Jindal Steel and Power.

The campaign is titled Jindal Steel—The Steel of India. It is a two-minute ad film with steel sounds and compelling visuals.

VML India won its 1st Lion, a bronze for Coca-Cola in the Entertainment Lions for the Music category. The campaign “Sing to Remember” garnered much appreciation.

Gatorade’s Turf Finder from Leo Burnett also won a Bronze Lion in the Entertainment Lions for Sport category.

On the other hand, Ogilvy earned a Bronze Lion for making the Cadbury 5 Star ad in the Entertainment Lions category.
