Janhvi Kapoor turned heads and aced her fashion game attending Prada’s Spring 2004 collection. She is making waves at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) not just for her presence, but with a fashion statement that bridges Indian tradition and global luxury. She was styled by cousin-stylist Rhea Kapoor. She caught everyone’s attention in a beautiful strapless gold dress crafted in rich, saree-inspired silk, detailed with intricate patterns. The spring 2004 collection saw Miuccia Prada celebrate the feminine with an interpretation of the saree in a 1950s silhouette, as highlighted in Rhea’s Instagram post.

The fabric of her golden ensemble had embroidery that captured the essence of saree craftsmanship. It looked reinterpreted into a structured, modern silhouette. Draped over her shoulders was a matching coat, which elevated the look. The actress opted for minimal accessories, sleek hair, and understated makeup. What also stole the show were her golden strappy sandals designed by AprajitaToor, which were a reimagined version of the iconic Kolhapurichappals.

Janhvi Kapoor, at the coveted festival, had also turned heads in a chiffon saree. The ensemble featured delicate hand embroidery in silk threads of warm tones, with floral motifs woven throughout the fabric. The saree was paired with a hand-embroidered backless blouse, while her footwear carried artisanal value. She layered a vintage men’s jamawar jacket from the 1980s.
