Kangana Ranaut praised Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan for debuting as a director for a series.

Actor and politician Kangana Ranaut recently praised Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, for debuting as a series director. She said that he “is taking the road less travelled.”

Aryan Khan, unlike other star kids choosing to become actors in the industry, has chosen to debut as a director in Bollywood. He has directed a series for Netflix, which the OTT giant recently announced about. Several Bollywood celebrities cheered for Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan on social media for debuting as a director, including Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Ananya Pandey, Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor and also Kangana Ranaut, among many others. All of them shared notes on their social media handles on Instagram Stories to cheer for Aryan Khan.

Kangana shared the news and wrote, “It’s great that children from film families are going beyond just wanting to wear make-up, lose weight, doll up, and think they are actors. We should collectively uplift the standards of Indian cinema that is the need of the hour. And those who have resources often end up taking easiest roads. We need more people behind the cameras, good that Aryan Khan is taking road less travelled. Look forward to his debut as a writer and filmmaker.”

Aryan Khan has directed the Netflix series under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. The project is produced by his mother, Gauri Khan. The yet-to-be-titled series is set against the backdrop of a film industry, which Shah Rukh Khan described as “all heart, all hustle.”
