Koratala Siva, director of Devara, wishes to see Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the sequel

Devara: Part 1, the action epic by Koratala Siva featuring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, was released in cinemas last month.

Last month, Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratal Siva and starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, was released. The director isn’t done with the North-South crossover in the franchise, which has been doing exceedingly well at the box office since its release. After the success of the first part of Jr NTR’s action epic, fans are curious about its sequel. As per his interview on Zoom, Director Koratal Siva has bigger plans for the sequel.

Koratala Sivas has his wishlist for the sequel of Devara.

Talking in an interview with Zoom, Koratala Siva said, “Actually, I have my own wish list. I don’t know whether that can happen or not. To be very honest, I would love to see Ranveer Singh or Ranbir Kapoor in the world of Devara. I won’t take too many names from the Telugu or Tamil industries. If I reveal some names, there will be too much of assumptions and speculations.” He said that he doesn’t like casting Bollywood biggies for mere cameos, but in key parts, pointing out, “I won’t say cameos also, they are very important characters in the film, and we are going to unveil very soon, character by character.”

Devara: Part 1 marks the return of Jr NTR as a single hero project.

Though Devara: Part 1 marks the debut of Saif Ali Khan in the Telugu film industry along with Janhvi Kapoor, the film also marks the return of Jr NTR as a single hero project after his Golden Globe and Oscar triumph with SS Rajamouli’s historical epic RRR last year. In Devara, Jr NTR plays a double role, both Devara and Varadha.

Devara: Part 1 was released on September 27 in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
