CCTV visuals of the Kurla bus accident have been spread across the internet, which shows the bus driver, Sanjay More, collecting backpacks from the cabin before jumping out of a broken window after the accident. Several video clips have gone viral on social media, showing how passengers, also in panic, jumped out of the shattered windows after the bus stopped. The BEST bus on Monday ran out of control and hit several vehicles and pedestrians, killing seven people.

Driver Sanjay More was seen taking two backpacks and jumping out of a shattered window on the left side of the bus. Meanwhile, the bus conductor got down from the rear side door. The BEST bus killed seven people and injured 42 people at around 9.30 pm on Monday along the SG Barve Marg in Kurla.

Later, the police arrested the driver, Sanjay More, and charged him with culpable homicide not amounting to murder, remanding him in police custody till December 21. Earlier in the day, Regional Transport Officers (RTO) shared that there wasn’t any technical fault with the bus in a preliminary assessment report with the police.
