When in Rome, they say to do like the Romans do. Indian-origin CEO Mona Patel went beyond with her remarkable appearance at the Dolce & Gabbana show, turning heads in her luxury ensemble.

Mona Patel recently attended the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda show in Rome. Mona, who is a fashion icon and entrepreneur, shared pictures of her look and captioned it, “The Roman Gods may look down with envy! Alta Mona in Alta Moda @dolcegabbana in the Eternal City.” Her ensemble is from the Italian luxury fashion house’s latest collection. For the event, she chose a bustier blouse, a voluminous skirt, and a Dolce & Gabbana belt for the Alta Moda show.

The skirt resembled a modernized version of a lehenga, serving as a major fashion goal and source of inspiration. The bustier she wore was made of shiny, velvet fabric and featured broad shoulder straps, a wide sweetheart neckline with a décolletage-flaunting plunge, a cropped silhouette that showed a hint of her midriff, and a bodycon silhouette. She paired it with a skirt that featured a silk drape attached to the front, featuring a vibrant digital print of the ancient Roman Forum. Underneath the skirt, adding volume was an underskirt in a nude shade, featuring layers of tulle that were pleated together to add an elegant structure to the ensemble. She completed the look with a broad Dolce & Gabbana belt.

Accessorising the look, Mona Patel wore an elegant ring featuring a massive diamond. For the glam look, she opted for darkened brows, mascara-adorned lashes, a glowing highlighter, soft contouring, muted brown eyeshadow, flushed cheeks, and a berry pink lip shade.
