MS Dhoni quashes a long-standing rumour about himself.
At a CSK event in Chennai on Tuesday, MS Dhoni, the wicketkeeper-batter, was asked to dismiss the “most ridiculous rumour” he has ever heard about himself. Responding to the same, the 2011 World Cup-winning skipper discussed the infamous milk story. Fans of Dhoni must be aware that there is a myth about him that he drinks five litres of milk every day to keep himself fit. The anchor asked, “What is the most ridiculous rumour you’ve heard yourself?” Dhoni replied, “I drink five litres of milk daily.” He added, “I used to drink, maybe, a litre of milk spread throughout the day. But four litres – it’s a bit too much for anyone,” pointing out that no human can have five litres of milk daily.
Dhoni laughs off another rumour about him.
During the event, MS Dhoni also laughed off another rumour about himself that he makes his lassi in a washing machine. To this, the iconic cricketer said, “First of all, I don’t drink lassi.”
Meanwhile, in IPL 2025, CSK is currently at the bottom of the points table with just 4 points from 8 matches.
