PM Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of skill development and outlined new infrastructure projects in Mumbai.
While speaking at an event in Mumbai’s Goregaon suburb, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that eight crore jobs have been created in India over the past three to four years, as per a report by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). He also emphasized the importance of skill development at the event, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for Rs. 29,000 crore worth of projects in the road, railway, and port sectors.

Recently, PM Modi attended an event in Mumbai’s Goregaon suburb and spoke about creating eight crore jobs in the past three to four years while emphasizing the importance of skill development and outlining new infrastructure projects in the city.
PM Modi highlighted RBI’s report on employment.
During the event, PM Modi spoke about the RBI’s employment report and said, “The RBI recently published a detailed report on employment. As per the report, around eight crore new jobs were created in the last three-four years. This figure has silenced those spreading fake narratives on jobs.” He also said, “People are aware that only the National Democratic Alliance government can provide stability.”
He highlighted the importance of skill development.
PM Modi also spoke on the importance of skill development and employment, affirming the government’s commitment to these realms, saying, “Skill development and employment are needed in the country, and our government is working in this direction.” He outlined the benefits of upcoming infrastructure projects in Mumbai that are aimed at boosting connectivity and ensuring better facilities and safety for women.
At the event, he spoke about the rapid expansion of the metro rail network in Mumbai, which has grown from 8 km ten years ago to 80 km now, and ongoing work on an additional 200 km. He cited the Goregaon-Mulund link road as an example of balancing development and nature conservation. He also highlighted other key developments, such as the railways, Vadhavan port, and more.
