PM Narendra Modi graces Srinagar today on International Yoga Day 2024

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Jammu & Kashmir for two days to unveil various development projects and participate in International Yoga Day celebrations in Srinagar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared on X that he will attend the “Empowering Youth, Transforming J&K” programme, which will focus on various youth-led development initiatives.

Recently on X, PM Narendra Modi tweeted, “I am leaving for Srinagar, where I will be taking part in two programmes. Later this evening, I will be at the “Empowering Youth, Transforming J&K” programme, which focuses on youth-led development. Key projects worth over Rs. 1500 crore will be inaugurated or their foundation stones would be laid. These works cover infrastructure, water supply, education, and more. Tomorrow morning, I will take part in the Yoga Day programme in Srinagar.”

Laying the stone for multiple development projects at J&K.

PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation of multiple development projects in J&K worth Rs. 1500 crores. He also launched the Competitiveness Improvement in Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP).

Today, PM participates in the 10th International Day of Yoga.

The Prime Minister participated in the 10th International Day of Yoga event at SKICC in Srinagar this morning. He addressed the gathering on the occasion and took part in the CYP Yoga session thereafter.

Empowering Youth, Transforming J&K is a pivotal moment for the region that showcases progress and inspires young achievers. He has laid the foundation stone for projects like improving the Chenani-Patnitop-Nashri Section, developing industrial estates, and building six government degree colleges.
