Ranbir Kapoor turns into a “Dulha” again, but only for a fashion event

The “Animal” actor turned into a groom and danced on stage, looking dapper as ever.

For a recent Delhi fashion event for designer Tarun Tahiliani, Ranbir Kapoor wore a sherwani and matching pants and carried a shawl over his shoulder. He also wore a turban and completed his look with a mojri. He became a groom again, but only for the fashion event.

Ranbir Kapoor adorned the look of a dulha (groom) and turned into a showstopper for fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani’s Baaraat by Tasva show, held in Delhi. Several pictures and videos of his went viral soon after, where the “Animal” actor was dressed up as an Indian groom for the fashion show. In the clip that went viral on social media, Ranbir made a grand entrance in a car with dhols playing. He waved, blew kisses, and folded hands at the crowd. On stage, Ranbir danced to the music with other models, who were his groomsmen.

Ranbir Kapoor wore a silk ivory sherwani paired with matching pants. He completed his look with ivory and pink mojri footwear and a shawl over his shoulder. The ensemble was topped off with a silk ivory turban embellished with colorful stones and pearl accessory. Anubhav Bassi, Ranbir’s co-star in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, also made an appearance on the ramp, wearing a black outfit as he was one of the groomsmen at the event.

During the media interaction, Ranbir remembered how his wife and actor Alia Bhatt planned everything on their wedding day, saying, “My wife planned everything; I just had to follow her lead. Our wedding took place at our home only. So, it was not that hectic. And it was just a perfect marriage. To be bridegroom again in this collection just feels good.”
