Indian batter Sarfaraz Khan’s younger brother and cricketer Musheer Khan endured a road accident and has reportedly suffered a fracture. The incident happened when he was traveling through Uttar Pradesh. The teenager was en route to Lucknow with his father and coach Naushad Khan for the upcoming Irani Cup.

The younger brother of Indian batter Sarfaraz Khan, Musheer Khan, suffered a fracture in a road accident while traveling through Uttar Pradesh and going to Lucknow. He was traveling with his father and coach, Naushad Khan, for the upcoming Irani Cup, but as per a report in The Times of India, he will now have to miss the match. Exact details of the accident have yet to be ascertained. Also, it is not known whether his father/coach faced injuries in the accident. It is said that Musheer may also be unable to play in the Ranji matches.

The young athlete showed exceptional performance with his runs in domestic cricket this year. He also represented the India U-19 team in the 2024 World Cup. While the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has yet to make an official statement regarding Musheer Khan’s accident, the newspaper reported that the selectors are expected to name a replacement for Musheer in the Irani Cup squad.
