Shah Rukh Khan’s film to clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s on Eid 2026

According to a report, the box office will see a clash on Eid 2026 between “King” and “Love & War.”

According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan looks forward to release his much-anticipated project “King” on Eid 2026. However, on the same day, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s multi-starrer “Love & War” is also slated for release.

King Khan and Ranbir Kapoor’s films will clash again at the box office.

In 2007, Ranbir Kapoor debuted with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya,” which had clashed with Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Om Shanti Om. As per a report on Pinkvilla, one more such clash might happen on Eid 2026 between SRK and RK. SRK will release King on Eid 2026, and so will Sanjay Leela Bhansali, his film Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.

For years, Salman Khan reserved the Eid festival. However, Eid in 2026 has already been reserved by two other superstars. A source said, as quoted in a report, “A film like King is apt for the Eid 2026 period, and that’s what Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand are aiming at. It has been a while since a Shah Rukh Khan film release on Eid, and this would mark his return to the festival after the historic success of Chennai Express. Given the timelines of shoot chalked out at the moment, the makers will make it to the Eid 2026 release slot.” Bhansali Productions by Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Friday announced that his next directorial, Love & War, has been pushed from its initial release date of Christmas 2025 to Eid 2026.
