Some suspects in Raja Raghuvanshi murder ‘confess’ to killing him

Meghalaya’s Deputy CM said that some suspects have confessed to killing Raja Raghuvanshi while his wife Sonam watched him die.

Prestone Tynsong, Deputy CM of Meghalaya, said that some suspects in the Meghalaya honeymoon murder case have confessed to killing Raja Raghuvanshi, implicating his wife Sonam was ‘fully involved.’

What did Meghalaya Deputy CM say?

Prestone Tynsong said, “All the accused have been arrested from different places – one in Madhya Pradesh, the other in Uttar Pradesh. An SIT of the Meghalaya Police visited these two places. Some of them have also confessed to the crime they committed. The moment we were able to pick Sonam Raghuvanshi, being the prime suspect in the killing, we all came to know that she was fully involved in this operation during their stay here in Meghalaya.”

Updates on Raja Raghuvanshi’s murder.

All four accused Akash Rajput (19), Vishal Singh Chauhan (22), Raj Singh Kushwaha (21) and Anand Kurmi –  have confessed to the crime. ACP (Indore Crime Branch), Poonamchand Yadav, told a leading portal, “We have recovered the clothes that he (Vishal Chauhan) had worn whilst he was in Shillong on the day of the incident. They have accepted that they have committed the murder. We are searching for his mobile.” Shillong Police, along with Indore Crime Branch, searched one of the four accused, Vishal Chauhan’s house and claimed to find clothes he wore on the day of the murder. He admitted to killing Raja and revealed that Sonam was present at the scene and “watched her husband die”.
