The actor garnered massive attention from everyone at the BoF Gala last night in Mumbai by rocking a yolk yellow-coloured chiffon gown that resembled a saree. She channelled her old-school heroine vibe and stunned everyone at the event. Her sister Rhea Kapoor styled her look. The sisters chose a vintage 1970s chiffon gown by designer George Stavropolou for the occasion. The draped design of the gown and the free-flowing silhouette made the ensemble resemble the evergreen nine yards and lent a Greek goddess aesthetic.

The vintage 1970s gown features a round neckline, full-length sheer gigot sleeves with cinched cuffs, a draped design that skimmed her body, a floor-sweeping hem length and a pallu-style drape on her shoulder. The actress styled the ensemble with glittering jewels, including bracelets adorned with cut-work diamonds in floral shapes, beaded embellishments and Polki work. She carried a gold clutch with the saree gown.
Sonam Kapoor chose mascara-adorned lashes, light black eyeliner, muted brown eye shadow, glowing highlighter, darkened brows, flushed cheeks and berry-toned lips for the glam.
