Sunny Paaji’s fans and lovers are in for a treat as he is now all set to get back to shooting the Hindi remake of Joseph, which he started working on in 2022. The Hindi crime drama is titled “Soorya” and will be directed by M. Padmakumar.
Soorya is the official remake of the Malayalam film Joseph.
For the unversed, Soorya will be the official adaptation of the 2018 Malayalam film Joseph. In the Hindi remake, Deol stars as a retired cop who is pulled back into the world of investigations to solve a murder mystery and uncover a sinister organ-harvesting racket.
Reports suggest he is back at shooting the remake after a break.
Sunny Deol began shooting for the film in 2022 in Jaipur, but due to scheduling conflicts and his commitment to other projects, the film was delayed. However, as per reports by Mid-Day, he is said to be back at shooting the remake.
Deol plans to finish the shoot by November 2024.
The reports also suggest that Deol is eyeing to finish the shoot for the Kamal Mukut production by November 2024.
Sunny Deol, always one to keep his fans on their toes in excitement, is also working on a much-talked-about project titled “Lahore 1947,” and besides that, he has treated all his fans announcing the sequel to the 1997 blockbuster Border.
