The Akkinenis welcome newlyweds Akhil Akkineni-Zainab Ravdjee to the family

Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni’s son Akhil Akkineni recently tied the knot with artist-businesswoman Zainab Ravdjee in an intimate ceremony in Hyderabad on Friday. Brother Naga Chaitanya and his wife, Sobhita Dhulipala, took to Instagram to welcome the newlyweds to the family.

Naga and Sobhita posted a new picture along with the newlywed couple standing beside them. Nagarjuna and Amala also stood beside them, posing for a happy family portrait. Sobhita wore a stunning cream-coloured saree and paired it with a red full-sleeved blouse. Chaitanya, on the other hand, opted for a light yellow sherwani. Captioning the post, Chaitanya wrote, “Congrats to the newlyweds, welcome to the family, dear Zainab, @akkineniakhil.” Sharing the picture, Sobhita captioned the post, “Welcome to the family, dear Z 🤍Congratulations to the newlyweds.”

Amala Akkineni shares a sweet note.

Amala posted an official note on her Instagram account to mark the special occasion of Akhil’s wedding. The note read, “With immense joy, I am delighted to share that my dear son Akhil has married his beloved Zainab in an intimate ceremony at our home in the early hours of the morning (3:35 am). It was a dream come true for Nagarjuna and myself, as we shared the warmth of love, laughter and the company of those dearest to us. I seek your blessings and good wishes as they embark on this new chapter together. With love and gratitude, Amala Akkineni.”

Nagarjuna also posted pictures of Akhil and Zainab taking the pheras, as well as another of him and Amala, all smiles, performing the pooja.
