According to early reviews, the horror-comedy starring Prabhas and Sanjay Dutt leaves audiences with mixed feelings.
The Raja Saab, a horror-comedy film starring Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, and others, released today, January 9, in Telugu and Hindi. However, according to early reviews, it has failed to impress audiences. Prabhas has a massive fan following, especially since Baahubali, and even after coming to the big screens two years later, after Kalki 2898 AD, fans left the theatre with mixed feelings.
Mixed reviews by fans after watching Prabhas-starring The RajaSaab.
Early reviews of The RajaSaab have fans not getting too impressed by the Maruthi-directed film. Netizens loved the actor and his presence, but the film didn’t really strike the right chords. One review on X read, “Just watched #RajaSaab👀 First half drags, second half works. Prabhas looks great, some fun moments, mixed climax. Feels like a safe Sankranti family entertainer. What did you guys think? #RajaSaabReview #Prabhas.” Another fan wrote, “I honestly love #prabhas but man #RajaSaab is horrible. Worse than horrible. I’m so disappointed you guys, why take an actor who can’t give time for the movie when there are many other actors in #tfi who are willing to go above and beyond.”

One fan wrote, “#RajaSaab #TheRajaSaab #RajaSaabReview I wish I had a remote in my hand—I would’ve skipped at least 2 hours of this movie. $30 waste. Maruthi sir, did you release the first draft as the final product?” Another reacted, “Watched #RajaSaab today and imma tell you cancel your tickets. Its not worth a penny or your time.” A fan expressed, “RAJASAAB MOVIE REVIEW: Slow first half with outdated comedy; the film never picks up even after the interval. Ugly looks and a weak climax make it a complete letdown. Overall: Don’t watch this pathetic movie. Save your money. ⭐️1.5/5.” One more reacted, “TBH, #TheRajaSaab is dead on arrival, no respite at all. Those who are hoping for a hit might point to Prabhas’ jovial role, a couple of comedy sequences in the second half, and the climax as positives. But overall, it’s a chaotic mess.”
The RajaSaab is a Telugu-language fantasy horror-comedy film that has also been released in Hindi. It is written and directed by Maruthi and stars Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, BomanIrani, NidhhiAgerwal, MalavikaMohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and ZarinaWahab.
