It showed the stray dog standing on a small rock in the middle of the river as the water flowed around it. With no way to move to safety, the animal appeared visibly distressed. Moments later, a group of rafters were seen approaching. One of them carefully stepped off the raft onto a nearby stone and gently patted the dog to calm it. They then manoeuvred the raft closer using a rope. He then lifted the dog and placed it on the raft, where others on board were seen comforting it.

In its caption, the organisation said that the dog had been trapped after the river’s water levels rose suddenly, leaving it struggling to survive.
