Digital content creator Amar Parkash shared the video on Instagram. His Instagram bio reads, “Maratha based in Pakistan.” He captioned the video, “GudiPadwachyahardikshubhecha from Karachi” (Heartfelt GudiPadwa wishes from Karachi). The video opens with a text insert that reads, “GudiPadwa puja rituals in Karachi.” The clip then shows Parkash performing rituals and making the gudi.
