On one hand, the people of Delhi-NCR are debating over the Supreme Court’s order on the issue of stray dogs, whether they should be allowed to roam freely. On the other hand, a monkey was seen roaming freely in a Delhi Metro. A video of the same has now gone viral on the internet.

The Supreme Court, on August 11, issued a directive to round up all stray dogs in the national capital and confine them in shelters within 6 to 8 weeks. Meanwhile, a monkey has stolen the spotlight by turning up inside the Delhi Metro. This left the passengers inside the Metro stunned as the monkey casually strolled down the aisle. The clip, which has now gone viral on the internet, shows the animal making his way past seated passengers, who remain still and quiet, watching the monkey in disbelief. Some grab their phones to capture the scene. The post claims that the footage was shot on a train headed towards Vaishali.

According to a claim, Metro staff had to guide the monkey out of the coach eventually. The video was posted on X and was captioned, “Monkey entered Vaishali Metro, ran all over the metro, monkey was taken out by metro workers.”
This isn’t the first time that an animal has been seen on a Delhi Metro. A pigeon made headlines after being spotted calmly perched inside the women’s coach.
