According to The Logical Indian, the test, organised by Superintendent of Police (SP) Suraj Kumar Rai, was meant to ensure that only competent officers were appointed to key positions.

Responding to the incident, SP Suraj Kumar Rai said, “Uktprakaranmein APS Baghpatkojaanchkeliyenirdeshitkiyagayahai,” indicating that the Additional Superintendent of Police in Baghpat has been tasked with conducting a detailed investigation, the report said. The backlash has prompted senior officials to initiate a departmental inquiry and vow to take strict action against those involved, according to the report.
