The environmentalist and veena player shared a photo of herself dressed in a pink saree, standing inside the women’s coach of the train. She wrote in the caption, “Travelling in the metro is so much convenient and that too in the female compartment! #nammametro.”

Earlier, the Kamath brothers gifted a luxury car to their mother.
Her post came three months after her billionaire son had gifted her a brand-new Mercedes. She shared the news on Facebook and said that her sons ensured she received the gift in a traditional manner, along with proper rituals. She wrote, “My sons today gifted me new car today and here also I received car keys this way and one more Peta and shalu,” sharing a picture of herself wearing a peta (turban) and shalu (shawl), while accepting the keys of the luxury car.
A news report from March had reported that the car was a Mercedes GLS, priced at over ₹1.5 crore.
