Apple has announced a Truecaller-like ID service for businesses, aiming to help users identify spam calls easily.
According to recent reports, Apple Business caller ID will start appearing early next year. Apple is reportedly working on a new feature similar to Truecaller’s service, likely called “Business Caller ID,” which will help users combat spam calls.

The tech giant plans to launch its new Truecaller-like feature for businesses called Business Caller ID early next year. With this, companies can register themselves on the platform with their name, logo, and department. David Dorn, Apple’s senior director of Internet Software and Services Product, said, “We designed Business Connect to empower businesses to present the best, most accurate information to Apple users. With today’s updates, we’re helping even more businesses reach customers, build trust, and grow.”
Companies will have more control over their appearance within the Apple ecosystem.
As part of the Apple Business Connect, it is said that the companies will have more control over how they appear within the Apple ecosystem, including listing on Apple Maps, Siri, Wallet, and Messages. As per the tech giant, businesses of any size can register themselves on the Apple Business Connect platform, using an existing Apple ID or creating one for free, which will appear across a billion Apple device users.
Apple’s new service will be available to both physical and digital businesses. It enables companies to create a unique digital identity to help users quickly identify them when receiving a phone call or promotional email. The exact identity will be used in select markets where Apple Pay is available. It is said that starting in early 2025, Apple users will begin seeing business caller IDs across calls, emails, and messages.
