On Sunday, July 28, Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy had to be hospitalized after he experienced nasal bleeding during a press conference. The incident occurred when the minister spoke to reporters in Bengaluru after a meeting with BJP leaders. He noticed blood coming out of his nose.

During a press conference with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders on Sunday, while Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy was seen talking to reporters in Bengaluru, blood came out of his nose, and he experienced nasal bleeding. The Janata Dal (Secular) leader was seen blocking his nostrils with a piece of cloth, but the blood dribbled down his chin and fell on his white shirt. HD Kumaraswamy, who holds a portfolio of steel and heavy industries, was taken to a private hospital by his son, Nikhil Kumaraswamy, after the incident.

Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of HD Kumaraswamy, later spoke to the media and said that there was nothing to worry about as doctors were attending to his father, as reported by PTI. He said that his father didn’t take rest after a hectic schedule, which could be the reason behind the incident.
Meeting of BJP and JDS.
A meeting between BJP and JDS leaders took place in Bengaluru on Sunday, under the leadership of state BJP President BY Vijayendra, state leader of opposition R Ashoka, and Kumaraswamy. As per ANI, after the meeting, Vijayendra said that it was held to discuss the reasons behind corruption in Karnataka, including the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam.
