Vikramaditya Motwane expressed frustration and slammed Pushpa 2.
Filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane took to social media to voice his frustration and call out Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2: The Rule. Motwane isn’t happy with the film’s screen distribution. He has expressed frustration and disappointment with the screens the film got compared to the Golden Globe-nominated film All We Imagine As Light.
Vikramaditya Motwave congratulated All We Imagine As Light’s director, Payal Kapadia.
He took to his Instagram Stories to express his views on how the film Pushpa 2 has been distributed across screens widely, leaving any space for Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light. He congratulated Payal for securing two nominations at the Golden Globe Awards 2025. He shared his disappointment that her film is off the big screen, while films such as Pushpa 2 continue to enjoy multiple shows daily. Sharing a screenshot of numerous screenings of Pushpa 2, he emphasized his views on the matter and wrote, “And yet, Payal’s incredible success will mean f**k all to us because we will throw her film out, not let it breathe or find an audience, and will have 36 shows a day of one film in a single multiplex. Congratulations. We deserve this (sic).”
