The video shows her lawyer, Enosh George, banging on the car’s bonnet with his hand after his foot gets under the tyre.

The investigation into the death of Twisha Sharma continues to draw nationwide attention, with fresh developments emerging almost every day. Now, the CBI has stepped in, amid a new order for a second autopsy. A new controversy has now surfaced involving the lawyer representing Twisha’s mother-in-law, Giribala Singh. A video is circulating online showing advocate Enosh George visibly angry during a chaotic interaction with reporters outside the family’s residence. The incident unfolded while George was escorting Giribala Singh to a vehicle amid intense media presence.

Reporters surround Giribala Singh’s lawyer.

According to the video, reporters surrounded the lawyer and Singh while seeking updates on the investigation and the family’s response to demands for a CBI inquiry. When asked about the victim’s family’s call for a central probe, George initially appeared calm and responded that a CBI investigation “should definitely happen” and that the matter deserved a proper inquiry. However, moments later, he suddenly began shouting at those around him, claiming that his foot had become trapped under the tyre of the car in which Giribala Singh was seated. The footage shows him repeatedly banging the bonnet of the vehicle while trying to get attention and free himself. “What kind of behaviour is this?” he shouted at the crowd. “You are trying to get people killed. The car ran over my foot. At least give someone space to walk.” The visibly upset lawyer further claimed that the injury may have caused a fracture in his leg. He also demanded an apology from those gathered near the vehicle, accusing them of creating dangerous chaos during the media rush.

Giribala Singh’s actions are under scrutiny.

Giribala Singh, who served as an additional district judge, has been questioned by Twisha Sharma’s family over claims that she may have interfered in the early stages of the investigation. According to statements made by the family, concerns have been raised about her alleged communication with senior officials, members of the judiciary, and individuals connected to CCTV maintenance soon after Twisha’s death. These allegations have added another layer of complexity to a case that has already triggered strong public reactions.

Twisha Sharma was found hanging at her matrimonial home in Bhopal’s Katara Hills area on May 12. Her family has accused her husband and in-laws of dowry harassment, alleging that prolonged abuse pushed her toward death. On the other hand, the in-laws have denied the allegations and claimed that Twisha struggled with drug addiction. The Madhya Pradesh government requested a CBI investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, the Bhopal Police have issued a notice to Giribala Singh to be questioned in connection with the case. She, along with Twisha Sharma’s husband, has reportedly been booked in a dowry harassment case as investigations continue.
